Vision & Values Offsite.

To make sure we can make the most of our half-day together, we ask all of our participants to complete and return about 20 minute of prework in the week before our session. There are several different types of activity in this prework and all of it is designed to accellerate participant’s thinking in relation to your team or organization’s vision and values.

Once we receive the prework, we anonymise it, collate it and turn it into handouts that we use in the workshop. This is a great way to help participants share their ideas, learn from each other and converge on key themes in positive way.

These half-day workshops are split into two halfs. The first half of the workshop helps your team focus on your team or organizational vision and the second half of the workshop focuses on uncovering your core team or organizational values.

Like all of the sessions we run, these workshops are discussion based and designed and facilitated to ensure that all participants get a chance to meaningfully contribute, so that the outcomes really are co-created by your team.

At the end of this workshop you’ll have a draft vision statement as well as a draft set of high level core-values.

After the session it’s over to you to lead the finalisation of your Vision and Values, but we continue to provide support.

Typically, we work with clients to identify two “champions” from within their teams to take this work forward. We then work with these champions to progress the team or organization’s Vision and Values and get them agreed.

Of course, this is just the start really! The next stage of your culture journey involves embedding your new values into the way you work as an organization.
